Desperate arms encircled the small object, its muted shine glinting off the sinking sun in the distance. The sky's blue had just begun melding into a softer hue, an orange-pink tinting it's edges, licking up the corners as a flame did to a page. Atop a grassy hill, the green leaves flaring yellow and gold, Elle reached for its peak. Tightening her grasp on the small urn, she felt her stomach twist in protest. But despite her reluctance, Elle wasn't deterred from her path. She clutched the urn as if it were about to disappear forever, and though she knew it wasn't possible even in the slightest, Elle hugged the thing like a lifeline. The c
